In this course, you have the opportunity to collaborate with other LiU students from various programs and faculties in interdisciplinary project groups. These groups work on real-life challenges from the region’s trade, industry, and public sector, connected to the UN’s sustainable development goals. This can result in solutions that make a difference both regionally and globally.
Cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration are essential parts of the course, practiced through group work and “pitches” as part of the examination and presentations to external parties.
We emphasize sustainable and responsible thinking throughout the innovation process. As a student, you will also have the chance to create networks and develop personal and professional skills. The inGenious course promotes entrepreneurial ability and allows you to turn theoretical knowledge into practice. Your unique expertise will contribute significantly to your project group.

Application Process:
Current projects are announced on our web platform. After applying for the course, we will arrange the groups. Once assigned to a project, students can be admitted to the course.
The course is held at Campus Valla, Campus Norrköping. Students have free access to our premises in Studenthuset, Campus Valla.

UNIQUE COLLABORATION MAKES IT INGENIOUS
This course is a collaboration between LiU and Almi East Sweden AB. LiU handles academic elements (seminars, workshops) and assessment, while Almi East Sweden AB designs challenges in consultation with companies and provides pitch training. Students have access to facilitators from Almi East Sweden AB throughout the course. Our student groups own their solutions, and it is not uncommon for challenge providers to offer to buy project results.
