What product or service do you offer?
I am building Listingfinder.se which is a search engine for Sweden’s second-hand market. We offer the largest selection of second-hand listings in the country, sourced from a wide range of platforms including Blocket, Tradera, Vinted, Sellpy, and major auction houses. Our service provides a unified, free search experience covering millions of listings, from clothing and furniture to electronics and collectibles. For advanced users, we also offer DeepSearch, an AI-powered tool that interprets detailed requests and matches them with relevant listings across platforms. Listingfinder helps people shop smarter and more sustainably by making quality second-hand items easier to find.

Why did you choose to start your own business?
I have always loved building things, and when I came up with the idea for Listingfinder, I decided to simply try it. I didn’t conduct much research before starting, I just began building. Entrepreneurship has always appealed to me, and over the years I have collected different ideas. Listingfinder became the one I wanted to pursue.

What challenges have you encountered?
The biggest challenge has been the non-technical side, especially marketing and everything related to it. I had no prior experience there. On the technical side, one recurring challenge has been platforms actively attempting to block scraping. Solving that has required reverse-engineering and creative technical workarounds.

What are you most proud of so far?
Taking the project from a simple idea to a fully functioning product available to everyone. Seeing it become real is incredibly rewarding.

How has Student Innovation by LiU supported you?
Student Innovation has been valuable as a place to discuss ideas and get feedback. It has also helped me connect with like-minded students. Their lunch lectures have provided insight into local companies and given me opportunities to meet interesting people.

Tell us a little about yourself!
My name is Uljas Wennström, and I am 20 years old. I am in my second year of the Master of Science programme in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering at Linköping University. I have always been interested in building things, both through software and through hands-on projects such as drone building. Beyond tech, I also enjoy cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Are you looking for help or potential co-founders with any specific skills?
I am not actively looking for co-founders at the moment. However, I remain open to conversations and ideas from people who see potential in what I’m building. If the right fit or opportunity appears, I’m willing to explore it.
